Marie Cora Lee Sweat

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of September 25, 2010, Marie Cora Lee Sweat, widow of Barnwell Rhett Sweat. Residence, Summerville, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at Bethany Cemetery on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at 11:00 am.  

Mrs. Sweat was born November 7, 1924 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Clifford McKenry Singletary and Marie Annie Beckroge Singletary.  She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and attended Memminger High School.

She is survived by her daughter: Annette S. Tyler of Charleston, SC, great grandchildren: Kira, Marissa, and Thomas, a brother: Leonard E. Singletary of Marion, SC. Cora Lee is preceded in death by her granddaughter Ellicia Rhett Stanley, her brother Clifford M. Singletary, Jr. and her sister Gloria S. Nielson.
