Marie Hasletene Richards Lambert, 90, of Charleston, SC, wife of Dr. Paul Ray Lambert, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 4, 2017. Her memorial service will be held at a later date and burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg, PA. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Charleston, SC.

Marie was born April 17, 1926 in Greeneville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Robert R. Richards and Bonnie Gibson Richards. She was retired from West Virginia Public Broadcasting and a member of First United Methodist Church in South Charleston, WV.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul; two daughters: Karen Merriman (John) of Charleston, WV, and Jan Lawrence (Bob) of Grove City, PA; son, John Campbell (Dee) of Mercer, PA; step-daughter, Patty Balevic (Ed) of Concord, NC; two step-sons: Dr. Paul Ray Lambert II (Debbie) of Charleston, SC, and Dr. Mark Lambert (Barbara) of Charleston, WV; thirteen grandchildren: Kelly, Chad, Brandon, Samantha, Andrew, Abbey, Matthew, Katy, Lara, Paul III, Leslie, Brad, and Stephen; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetic Association, the American Heart Association, or the First United Methodist Church of South Charleston.
