Marie Theresa Wozniak Price

Marie Theresa Wozniak Price, 86, wife of Army Air Corp World War II veteran Melvin "Mel" H. Price of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012. The relatives and friends of Marie Price are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Christ Our King Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be in Beaufort National Cemetery at 12 Noon on Friday, February 24, 2012. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. The family will greet friends at the church after the service.

Marie was born on June 5, 1925 in Dunkirk, New York, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Wozniak. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Mel Price of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a son, James "Jim" Price of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Judith "Judy" Wilkins and her husband, Rich, of Gainesville, VA and Margaret "Margie" Williams and her husband, Richard, of Cabot, AR; five grandchildren, Kristen Price of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Stephanie Wilkins of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Tom Wilkins and his wife, Katie, of Green Bay, WI, Shannon Murrah and her husband, Chris of Marian, AR and Jason Carpenter and his wife, Danielle of Jacksonville, AR; seven great grandchildren, Laura, Lizzie and Lander Wilkins, Emily, Luke and Will Murrah and Jacob Carpenter.
