Marie Roberts Orr, 91, of Hanahan, SC, widow of George Lee Orr, Jr. died Thursday, November 12, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service.

Marie was born September 15, 1924 in Manchester, KY, daughter of the late Daniel Roberts and the late Susie Baker Roberts. She was a retired nurse and a founding member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Marie decorated cakes and was well known throughout the state for her wedding cakes.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Anne Orr of Hanahan, SC; grandchildren David and Tammy; sister, Marlene Breland of Naples, FL; she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Orr, Jr. and son, David Orr.
