Faye P. McMichael

Faye P. McMichael, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on the night of August 30, 2022. The relatives and friends of Faye P. McMichael are invited to attend her funeral services in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens following the service. The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life for Faye, held at a private location following burial.

Faye was born March 23, 1943 in Wilmington, NC. She moved to Charleston in the 1960s and began a successful career as Assistant to the Commandant of Cadets at the Citadel. For the remainder of her career, she was passionate about her work in the legal field as a legal secretary. She had a love for the written word and her abilities in shorthand, transcription, and documentation led her to be successful professionally and personally. She enjoyed watching Clemson football, cross-stitching, and dancing, specifically Carolina Shag. Anyone who knew her, knew that her favorite holiday was Christmas. Known as the Queen of Christmas, every inch of her house was decorated and her heart was filled with Christmas spirit year-round. She enjoyed spending time with her children and most of all spending time with her granddaughters. She was a generous care-giver her entire life and was always there for her family. 

Surviving are her three children of Charleston; a daughter, Alicia Marie Frances Webb (Brian); sons Alexander John Armstrong, Anthony Durr Armstrong; and granddaughters, Vivian and Violet.
