Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 5, 2012, Marie Duc Herron, widow of Ruben E. Herron. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11:30 A.M., in St. Johannes Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends in the Church Social Hall, one hour prior to the service. The burial will be private.

Mrs. Herron was born August 12, 1934 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of William O. Duc and Vivian Biel Duc. She was a graduate of Rivers High School and retired from AT&T as a supervisor. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, Charleston Does #23, The Ladies Auxiliary of Charleston Rifle Club and St. Johannes Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Tina H. Dudley (Joseph) of Charleston, SC; one son: Glenn E. Herron of Charleston, SC; one brother: Albert C. Duc of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren: Jennifer, Heather, Tiffany, and Alexandra; four great grandchildren: Dustin, Alexis, Caylie and Lillian.
