Marie Paulson Burton

Marie P. Burton of Ravenel, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 16, 2011.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service Monday, September 19, 2011, at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 12 Noon.  Burial will be private.  Visitation immediately following the service.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina on January 4, 1922, Marie was the daughter of the late Sernie and Dorothy Simmons Paulson.  She was a retired Accounting Supervisor with the Charleston Air Force Base and worked following her retirement with Guest Services with the North Charleston Coliseum. 

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Van Hughett of Ravenel; two grandchildren, David Collins and his wife Lori, Amanda Seel and her husband David all of Charleston; and four great grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Shea and Emily.
