Marie Roddy Beavon, 74, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Samuel F. Beavon entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 26, 2015. A gathering of friends will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm., where an evening prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Marie was born October 4, 1941 in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Irwin Roddy and Elizabeth Hoza Roddy. She retired from MUSC Dental College as an Administrative Assistant. She is survived by her husband of fifty two years, Samuel F. Beavon of Charleston, SC; daughter, Shannon Beavon Cook (David) of Boynton Beach, FL, and son, Samuel A. Beavon (Allison) of Hollywood, SC.
