Marianne Confalone, 79, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of Lt. Col. Brian David Rogers, US Army (retired) entered eternal rest Sunday, April 19, 2026. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the chapel at the Oaktown Church, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Rd., North Charleston, SC at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Oaktown Church. Marianne began attending Oaktown Church in 2010 and became a member of the church that same year.

Interment will follow at Summerville Cemetery 1330 Boone Hill Rd Summerville, SC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Marianne was born September 28, 1946, in Bronx, New York, daughter of John Louis Confalone and Norma Anne Myhre. Marianne grew up on Long Island, New York and attended Notre Dame women’s college In Maryland where she earned a degree in English. This led her to a career as an editor where she spent most of her years as a Technical Editor for Electronic Data Systems, the company that was owned by one-time Presidential candidate Ross Perot.

In her spare time, she spent many hours ensuring that homeless animals were fed or captured and domesticated to find homes for them. She enjoyed writing poetry and had hope to publish one day. Having a poetic mind, Marianne loved being surrounded by art and doing home décor both of which is evident in the beautiful home she created for Brian and herself. Lastly, she loved sitting on the beach to listen to the calming roar of the ocean to be one with God’s creation.

In addition to her husband of 26 years, she is survived by daughter, Katy Calloway and her children Payton and Coltrane of Long Island, NY; sister-in-law Kathy Confalone; nieces and nephews: Corinne Tortorici, husband Rob and children; Jack Confalone, wife Chrissy Reilly and children; and Nicole Confalone and her partner Chris Antonicelli.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Confalone.
