Marian Winner, 88 passed away in her sleep on April 5, 2018. She is survived by her son Kevin and her daughter Karen. Marian grew up on a farm in Lyons, Ohio and went on to become the director of the Science Library at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After retiring from her position at Miami she took on the challenge of becoming the Library Director for Northern Kentucky University until her final retirement at the age of 70. She then decided to move to Charleston to live out her retirement years, fiercely independent, as always, until she was overcome with sickness.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held Monday April 16, 2018 in First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, 53 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street.
