Marian "Mari" (Peanutt) Ellington Langdon, 40, of Bonneau, SC, wife of James Donald Langdon, died Friday, May 13, 2011, in a local hospital. The friends and relatives of Mari are invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life to be held at 3:00 p. m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at J.HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC. The family will greet friends at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Born January 30, 1971 in Charleston, SC, Mari was the daughter of the late Charles Ray Ellington and Louise Amanda Murray Ellington. She was a devoted housewife who loved spending time with her grandchildren. One of Mari's favorite hobbies was photography. She was previously employed as a dispatcher for Ashley River Fire Department.
Mari is survived by her husband, James D. Langdon of Bonneau, SC; daughter, Kristie Bryanna Holcombe of Charleston, SC; son, Edward Matthew Ellington of Moncks Corner, SC; two grandchildren, Landon James Holcombe-Dowling of Cross, SC and Alyssa Lorraine Holcombe of Bonneau, SC; one sister, Sandy Ellington-Stuart of Summerville, SC; one brother, Tracy J. Ellington of Miami, FL; half-brothers, Robin Ellington and Glenn Ellington; step-sister, Tina Sullivan; and "Aunt P" had several nieces and nephews.
