Marguerite Delores Schmonsees Fowlkes

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of January 27, 2011, Marguerite Delores Schmonsees Fowlkes, wife of John Henry Fowlkes.  Residence of Cartersville, GA and formerly of Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Fowlkes are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Monday, January 31, 2011 at 2:00 pm in St. Johannes Lutheran Church.  Interment, Bethany Cemetery.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Sunday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. 

Mrs. Fowlkes was born April 1, 1936 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of John Henry Schmonsees and Marguerite Bose Schmonsees. She was a veteran of the United States Navy.  She was a current member of First United Lutheran Church in Kennesaw, GA and a former member of St. Johannes Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of Cartersville, GA; daughter: Melissa Anne Davis of Cartersville, GA; brother: John Schmonsees of Greensboro, NC; sister: Anne Foster of Charleston, SC; and granddaughter: Alexandria Bryanne Davis of Cartersville, GA.
