Margaret Richardson Wieters

Margaret Richardson Wieters, 94, of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Her funeral services will be held at the graveside in Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue,Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Mrs. Wieters was born March 10, 1918 in New Port News, Virginia, daughter of Walter Russell Richardson and Jessie Thomas Richardson. She graduated from Memminger High School and retired as a secretary in the engineering department , City of Charleston. She was a founding member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and active in the PTA at St Andrew's Elementary School.

She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Thomas R. Wieters and his wife JoAnn and their daughter, Katherine Margaret Wieters, George Richardson Wieters and his wife Peggy all of Charleston, SC.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Bishop Gadsden, Resident Assistance Fund, One Bishop Gadsden Way, Charleston, SC 29412 or to the charity of one's choice.
