Margaret "Peggy" O'Sullivan Byrnes

Margaret "Peggy" O'Sullivan Byrnes, 93, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Peggy was born January 16, 1931 in Kilgarvan, Ireland, daughter of the late Denis O'Sullivan and Hannah Sullivan O'Sullivan. Peggy loved to garden and was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Byrnes Hayes (Timothy) of Mount Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren, Daniel Patrick Hayes (Lindsay) of San Francisco, CA, Brendan Joseph Hayes (Alexandra) of Ridgewood, NJ, and Conner Michael Hayes (Colleen) of Boston, MA; as well as 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Byrnes.
