Margaret Anderson Mitchum-Feigl, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 16, 2024. Her graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Margaret was born November 28, 1932 in Charleston, South Carolina , daughter of the late James Martin Anderson and the late Annie Thompson. Former wife of the late Edward Dewitt Mitchum for 47 years, and the late Frank Lynn Feigl for 14 years. She was a long time member of the Ashley River Baptist Church. She loved to cook, shop, and sew. She will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.
She is survived by daughter, Kathleen M. Ham of Bonneau, SC; grandchildren, Jonathan Edward Ham, Jacob Patrick Ham, and Sarah Kathleen Ham; great-grandchildren, Caroline Leigh Ham, Clarke Paisley Ham, Alexander Dewitt Dunn, Jacob Wilder Ham; step-daughter, Toni Feigl McArver; step-son, Eric Feigl; and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Lorraine Mitchum; first husband, Edward Dewitt Mitchum; second husband Frank Lynn Feigl; and nine older siblings.
