Margaret T. Minton

Margaret T. Minton, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Luther David Minton entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 12, 2015. Her Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in the Nativity Catholic Church on James Island, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday in J.HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Margaret was born March 18, 1929 in New York, New York, daughter of the late Felix McGonigle and Anna O'Neil McGonigle. She was a Journalist for the US Marine Corps as well as the private sector. She is survived by her two daughters, Ann Minton and Susie Minton Beal (Carl);four sons; Luke Minton, Felix Minton, Frank Minton, and John Minton; three grandchildren, Amanda Minton, Joshua Minton, and Carey Margaret Minton.
