Margaret “Maggie” Mary Rabicki Zayas-Bazan
February 14, 1961 – June 13, 2026
Margaret “Maggie” Mary Rabicki Zayas-Bazan of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Maggie was born on February 14, 1961, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to Anthony Albert Rabicki and Elizabeth Virginia Miller. She shared 35 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband, Raul Alfonso Zayas-Bazan. Professionally, she dedicated her talents as a Logistics Coordinator at BDP International.
An outgoing and vibrant "people person," Maggie never met a stranger. No matter the venue or the function, she had a rare gift for making instant, lifelong connections. She drew people in with her radiant personality and the deep, genuine care she expressed for everyone around her. Both in word and in deed, Maggie proved to be a true and steadfast friend to so many.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Raul Alfonso Zayas-Bazan; her faithful dog, Bella; and her two stepchildren, whom she raised as her own: her son, Rauly A. Zayas-Bazan (wife Kristen, and grandchildren Raul Patrick and Zoe Reese), and her daughter, Christina M. Zayas-Bazan.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Graciela Zayas-Bazan; her brother-in-law, Ramon Zayas-Bazan (wife Lori); and her beloved siblings: her big brother, Anthony “Tony” Rabicki (wife Jennifer) and nieces Blair and Olivia and their families; her sister, Carol Newman (husband Bobby), nephew Wyatt, and niece Lindsay and their families; and her sister, Pat Rabicki, niece Shelley Rumph (husband Bryan) and family, and niece Amy Solis (husband Skip) and family.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am.
