Margaret Wylie Jagar

June 21, 1918 — May 1, 2011

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 1, 2011, Margaret Wylie Jagar of Orangeburg, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside services in Magnolia Cemetery Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM.


Miss Jagar was born June 21, 1918 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Eugene Luther Jagar, M.D. and Isabelle Wylie Jagar.  She was a graduate of Queens College and a member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church. She volunteered with the American Red Cross during World War II. Miss Jagar retired from Eastern Air Lines as a manager of the Charleston city ticket office.


She is survived by one nephew, Dr. John Eugene Jagar of Millbrook, NY and one niece, Ann Well Jagar of Columbia, SC; great niece, Dr. Ashley Hood and great-great nephew, Luca Hood both of Saba Dutch Caribbean; great nephew Ross Jagar of New York. She is predeceased by her twin brother, Eugene L. "Jack" Jagar.
