Margaret Theresa Seidel Howell, 75 of Charleston, wife of Wiliam Joseph Howell, Jr., entered into eternal rest Monday  May 30, 2022. 

Margaret was born July 9th, 1946 in Washington, DC, and grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Otto Anthony Seidel and Agnes Theresa Seidel (Sheehan). 
Margaret was a graduate of Bishop England.  She taught kindergarten at St. Andrew's Church and later worked at the VA hospital. 

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William; daughter Renee Hutsell (Kevin) and Jennifer Velte (Henry); sister, Susan Agnes Seidel Sanders and brother, Otto Anthony Seidel; grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth Hutsell, Lauren and Diana Velte.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 2nd, 2022 at 11:30AM at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, South Carolina. Interment to follow at Bethany Cemetery, 10 Cunnington Avenue, Charleston, South Carolina. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
