Margaret Ann Thompson Hemingway, 73, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Dr. Ronald Eric Hemingway, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 4, 2021. Her memorial service will be held at Eastbridge Presbyterian Church, 1250 Lexington Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466, on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 am, and will be followed by a reception at the church. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Margie was born December 13, 1947 in San Mateo, California, daughter of the late Daniel F. Thompson and the late Marie Gillett Rose. She was a retired nurse and graduated from MUSC School of Nursing. She was a longstanding member of Eastbridge Presbyterian Church and volunteered with many of the church ministries. Margie was known as "Cookie Mom" to so many who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her Husband, Dr. Ronald Eric Hemingway, three daughters, Wendy Hook (Seth) of Simpsonville, SC, Mandy May (Bryan) of Elgin, SC, Lindsay Wensel (Scott) of Westminster, SC, a son, Eric Hemingway (Melanie) of Franklin, TN; nine grandchildren, Mallory Hook, Darby Hook, Jensen Hook, Peyton Hemingway, Kaelyn Hemingway, Andrew May, Alexandra May, Connor Watson, and McKenzie Wensel;
