Margaret Lee DuPont, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Calvin Coolidge DuPont entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 712 Wappoo Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Margaret was born June 4, 1933 in Panama City, Florida, daughter of the late Richard Marvin Lee and Bessie Wilcox Lee. She retired from Southern Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command as an accountant. Margaret was a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress, the United States Tennis Association, and a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, cooking and traveling.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon DuPont Miller (Larry) of Charleston, SC, Cynthia DuPont Judelsohn (Rob) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; son, Calvin Dennis DuPont (Annie) of Cottageville, SC; six grandchildren, Robert W. Burke, Jr, (Bonnie), Brandi Burke Walker (Kris), Dennis Randall DuPont (Rachel), Megan Denise DuPont, Robert Lee Judelsohn (Jimena), Emily Marie Cox (Fred), and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey David DuPont.
