Margaret Brandt Clarkston, 75, of Summerville, SC, widow of Alvin Carl Clarkston entered into eternal rest Monday, December 18, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Margaret was born May 4, 1948 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late John Charles Brandt and the late Lenora Bulwinkle Brandt.  

She is survived by two sons, Robert Butler Barfield of Pelion, SC and Alvin Carl Clarkston II (Jodie) of Jacksonville, NC; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; five siblings: Joan Coates (Joe) of Awendaw, SC, Kathy Ahner of Summerville, SC, Lynn Cole (Bobby) of Salisbury, NC, Chris Brandt of Wadmalaw Island, SC, and John Brandt (Becky) of Carlsbad, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvin Carl Clarkston.
