Margaret Janet Borum

Margaret Mann "Sue Borum, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Robert Covington Borum entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Her Private Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Sue was born on February 10, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii, daughter of the late Horace Desmond Mann and Margaret Sawyer Mann. She was a retired Charleston Naval Shipyard Contract Specialist at Supship, and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church. Sue served as the past Vice President of Mended Hearts, a national heart support group.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Covington Borum of Charleston SC; two daughters, Sheri Borum Montena of Charleston, SC and Beth Borum Choplin (Greg) of Gastonia, NC; son Robert Covington Borum, Jr. (Laurie) of Kingston, TN: six grandchildren, Robert Covington Borum, 111 (Sarah) Leslie Borum Presley (Andrew), Ryan Borum, Luke Borum, Amy Choplin, and Emily Choplin. Two great grandchildren, Jordan Presley, Jackson Presley, and several nieces and nephews along with extended family and loved ones. She was predeceased by her brother Horace D. Mann, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy., Charleston, SC 29407.
