Margaret Elizabeth Ann Bishop, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Virgil Allen Bishop entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 12, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m . The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Margaret was born May 31, 1938 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Hendricks and Lillian "Edna" Owens Hendricks. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, David Bishop (Kathy) of Walnut, CA; two daughters, Teresa Bishop Platt (Robert) of Ravenel, SC, daughter, Dawn Bishop of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Patricia Trottier of Johns Island, SC, Barbara Jean Thompson of Houston, TX, five grandchildren, Robert Platt II (Rachel), Heather Haynes (Doug), Leanna Gallagher (Cade), Amy Ideker (Lance), Brandon Bishop; and nine great-grandchildren.
