Marc Monts Rikard, 71, of North Charleston, SC, died Thursday, November 3, 2016. His funeral service will be held Monday, November 7, 2016, in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.
Marc was born September 1, 1945 in Charleston, SC, one of six children of Wilbur Earl Rikard and Nila Earline Monts Rikard. He was a retired tool maker at the Charleston Naval Shipyard.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Usher Rikard; son, Timothy Rikard of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Heather Cole (William) of Rutherfordton, NC; grandchildren: Kayla, Taylor and Lauren Cole, Shelby, Elizabeth, Alexis Rikard and Tori; and sister, Debbie Warren of Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Winston Rikard, Wayne Rikard, Diane Hall and Stephanie Yates.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to North Palm Community Church, P. O. Box 40655, North Charleston, SC 29423.
