Marc M. Lucas, 61, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 18, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held cryptside Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Marc was born on May 9, 1955 in Kinshasa, Republic of Congo, son of the late Marcel Peters and Monique Lucas. He graduated from Charleston Southern University and was a registered nurse with passionate dedication to the care of his hospice patients and their families.

In addition to his mother, Monique of Newburyport, MA, he is survived by two brothers: Richard H. Peters, M.D. of West Newbury, MA and Bernard F. Peters of Chicago, IL.
