Mamie Ruth Morris Langston, 84, of Hanahan, South Carolina, widow of Carlos E. Langston entered into eternal rest Monday, September 18, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

Mamie was born July 10, 1933 in Lake City, SC, daughter of the late Reginald R. Morris and Sue Powell Morris. She was a retired Clothing Manufacture Inspector.

She is survived by her three sons, son, Randall E. Langston (Doreen), Thomas A. Langston all of Goose Creek, SC, and Jerry T. Langston of Charleston, SC; daughter, Rena Mallast of Ladson, SC; sister, Alberta Hill of Hanahan, SC; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by three sisters, Betty Daniels, Treva Jarvis, and Gladys Filyaw.
