MSgt. Malcom Dan Massey, USAF, Ret., 68, of Hanahan, SC, husband of Dorothy M Massey died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 with his family by his side. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 AM. Interment with military honors will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.

Mr. Massey was born September 14, 1943 in Philadelphia, MS, son of the late Everett E Massey and the late Elsie A Kirkland Massey. He was a retired MSgt in the USAF having served 25 years. He later retired from the Boeing Training Center (formerly McDonnell-Douglas) at the Charleston Air Force Base. Dan was a member of the Lowcountry Good Sam's Club.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy M Massey of Hanahan, SC, daughter, Sheryl D Jackson (Christopher) of Charleston, SC, daughter, Denise Massey of Hanahan, SC, granddaughter, Caroline D Jackson of Charleston, SC, two sisters-in-law, Ruby Massey and Ann Massey. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Earl and Glenn Massey.
