Madalyn Louise Wolfe, 89, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of the late Henry E. Wolfe entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 12, 2020. A private memorial service will be held in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, followed by inurnment at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
Madalyn was born August 28, 1930 in Dallas, West Virginia, daughter of the late Archie Plants and the late Eva Rowan Plants. She worked for the General Services Administration as an administrative assistant and was a volunteer at East Cooper Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Wolfe (Nancy) of Summerville, SC, and Michael L.Wolfe (Vicki) of Woodbridge, VA; brother, Harold Plants (Nancy) of Ellicot City, MD; five grandchildren, Thomas H. Wolfe of Summerville, SC, Tyler E. Wolfe of North Charleston, SC, Joshua Wolfe of Lynchburg, VA, Jonathan Wolfe of Washington, D.C. and Jessica Forsee (Alan) of Woodbridge, VA; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey, Emma and Katie Forsee of Woodbridge, VA.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Archie Plants, Jr., Kenneth Plants, David Plants, and Gerald Plants; and two sisters, Lucille Holmes and Marjorie Myles.
