Mable Louise McGrew, 86, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, widow of Chester A. McGrew entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 23, 2021. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM, at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park on Rivers Ave., North Charleston. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
Mable was born August 23, 1935 in Caraway, Arkansas, daughter of the late Jack Fain and Minnie Stillwell. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician. In her free time, Mable loved to go shopping, take occasional trips to Florida to see family and going out for dinner. She especially loved to visit her favorite Mexican restaurant where she'd eat and enjoy a nice, cold margarita. She loved the Lord and was a woman of faith. She was a very clean person and kept a very tidy home. Mable loved her family dearly and would do absolutely anything for them.
She is survived by one daughter, Jenny and Bobby Herndon; three sons, Allen McGrew, Harold and Laura McGrew and Paul and Tracy McGrew; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Kelvin McGrew.
