Mabel Waldrop Poole

Mable Waldrop Poole, 100, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Richard James Poole died Monday, December 24, 2012. Mrs. Poole's Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral chapel. Mrs. Poole was born March 6, 1912 in Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late William and Merdie Waldrop. A member of Hibben United Methodist Church, she loved playing bridge and bingo with her friends. She is survived by her grandsons, Richard Poole and his wife, Mona of Mount Pleasant, SC and Timothy Poole of Florence, SC; her granddaughter, Tammy Flanders and her husband, Steven of Goose Creek, SC; her sister, Wilma Burton of Sumter, SC; and her ten great-grandchildren.
