M. Olivia Cooper

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 15, 2010, M. Olivia "Olive" Cooper.  Residence, Presbyterian Home of Summerville.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Monday, July 19, 2010 at eleven o'clock.  Interment, Indiantown Presbyterian Churchyard, near Hemingway, SC at two-thirty o'clock.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Sunday between five and seven o'clock.

Miss Cooper was born January 2, 1912 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of William Montgomery Cooper and Olive Jones Cooper, She was a graduate of The College of Charleston and did her graduate work at William and Mary College and Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, VA.  She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as Elder and belonged to Presbyterian Women of the Church and ADK Teacher' Honorary Sorority.  She taught first grade and kindergarten for nine years and was the Director of Week Day School of First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton, NC.

She is survived by one nephew, William G. Cooper, Jr.
