Lynn Vetter Powell

Lynn Carol Powell, 52, of Summerville, SC died Friday, June 18, 2010 at Hospice of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Born on June 17, 1958 in Charleston, SC she was the daughter of the late Leland Eugene Vetter and Carol Collins Vetter. She was employed as a senior shift supervisor for Sunoco.

Surviving are two sons, Corporal Perry Eugene Powell, USMC of Jacksonville, NC and Dustin Jay Marsh of Moncks Corner, SC; her mother, Carol Collins Vetter and sister, Beth Segars and her husband Wayne, all of Memphis, TN; brother, Brian Vetter and his wife, Teresa of Summerville, SC.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 21, 2010 from 7:00-9:00PM at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 10:00AM at Advent Lutheran Church, 3347 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405.
