Lynn Brooks Corley, 56, of North Charleston, SC a life long resident of North Charleston, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, November 5, 2015 after a brief illness. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life, Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 4990 Dorchester Road, Saturday between five and seven o'clock and Sunday between one and two o'clock. Arrangements by J. Miss Corley was born September 7, 1959 in Charleston, SC the daughter of the late Bernard F. Corley and Lorene James Corley. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. She loved her Lord and her church family and served her church in many capacities such as: Sunday School Superintendent, choir member, worship audio-visual coordinator and more. She is a graduate of Garrett High School and the College of Charleston where she earned a Bachelors Degree in accounting and Business Administration. She was a dedicated worker for 34 years at the South Carolina Federal Credit Union where she loved so many friends.
She is survived by one aunt, Pearl James Hill of North Charleston, SC; two uncles, Pat Cooper (Nancy) of Lagrange GA and Ronald Cooper (Elizabeth) of Conway, SC; many cousins including: Ronny, Debby, Rae and Jamee Hill of Charleston, SC; Dan, Mary Ann, Dean, Catherine, Kasey, Katey, Dawn and Derrick James of Aynor, SC; and Lavern James of James Island, SC and others. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bernard F. Corley, Jr.
