Lynn Cease

Lynn Cease, 77, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the Christ's Sanctified Holy Church, 1235 Belvedere Drive, Hanahan, SC 29410 at 2:00 pm. Private burial will be held in Christ's Sanctified Holy Church Cemetery in Perry, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Lynn was born January 28, 1938 in Union County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Edwin Boyce Funderburk and the late Dorothy Neal Edwards Funderburk. She was a member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church. She is survived by her daughters: Gloria Rodgers of Hanahan, SC, Cindy Baranowski (Tom) of Snellville, GA, Trudy Collins of Columbia, SC, Sonja Cease Sayles of Hanahan SC; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters: Jill Smeltzer, Jan Pitsor and Sue Weeks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry William Cease and her son, Jerry Cease Jr.
