Lynda Roller Boals

Lynda Roller Boals, 79, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Her graveside service will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023, in the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Mt. Pleasant Chapel.  

Lynda was born January 18, 1944, in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Martin Roller and the late Evelyn Revel Roller. She was involved with so many institutions in the Lowcountry. Lynda was appointed to the Mt. Pleasant Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee (ATAC) by Mayor Harry Hallman and was its chair for 3 years, served in the Mt. Pleasant Business and Professional Association, the Charleston Restaurant Association, the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and the Lowcountry Senior Network. Lynda also volunteered with The Patrick Ringwald Foundation, the Sea Islands YouthBuild School on Johns Island and Habitat for Humanity. She also was a member and representative for Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, and the Charleston Home Builders Association. A diehard college football fan, Lynda will be remembered for the way she loved her family and the SEC's Georgia Bulldogs.  

She is survived by son, Jason Aaron Boals and daughter-in-law, Lauren Ashley Boals of Charleston, SC; and four well-loved grandchildren, Layton Aaron Boals, Pressley Legare Boals, McKinley Mullen, and Hudson Banks.
