Lydia Leonard Paul

Lydia Leonard Paul, 91, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Hampton Odell Paul entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 17, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm.  The interment will be private by family. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  

Lydia was born July 22, 1930 in Electric Mills, MS, daughter of the late C.A. Leonard and Bessie Joyner Leonard.  She taught Kindergarten at First Baptist Church of North Charleston, also was a salesperson at Ingrams China Mart in North Charleston.  She also obtained her real estate license.  She was a long time Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics.  She was an avid fan of Clemson Football and Atlanta Braves Baseball.  

She is survived by two sons, Leonard O. Paul and G. Neil (Alice) Paul; four grandchildren: G. Neil (Michelle) Paul, Jr., Nancy Paul (John) O'Connell, Trevor (Tuesdee) Paul, Megan Paul; seven great-grandchildren: Cody (Greta), Grayson (Elizabeth), Wyatt, Daniel, Paul, Lydia and Layla; one great-great-grandchild, Madelyn Claire; sister, Rosemary L. Spencer. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, T. A. Leonard.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Assoc. of SC Memorial Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
