Lydia Glover Johnston, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Floyd D. Johnston entered into eternal rest Monday, November 5, 2012. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.
Mrs. Johnston was born October 29, 1923 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Francis St.Clair Glover and Lydia Elise Glover Glover. She retired as a Secretary with Illinois Bell in Chicago, IL. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Floyd D. Johnston and several nieces & nephews.
