Lupe Zamudio, 12, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 24, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
Lupe was born April 29, 2005 in Charleston, SC, son of Gilberto Zamudio Tovar and Laura Ann Hill Cook. He was a Student.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Laura and James Cook of Johns Island, SC; father, Gilberto Zamudio Tovar of Laredo, TX, three brothers, Jorge Zamudio, Gilberto Zamudio, Jr., and Benito Zamudio all of Johns Island, SC; three sisters, Rhonda Zamudio of Summerville, SC, Lorraina Zamudio, and Angelica Zamudio both of Johns Island, SC; maternal grandfather, Paul Hill of Carey, NC; maternal grandmother, Rhonda Austin of Johns Island, SC; paternal grandfather, Roger Zamudio and paternal grandmother, Maria Tovar both of Mexico; nieces, Angelina, Mariah, Laura, Selena; nephews, Lil Gilbert, Pablo, and Milo; and extended family. He was predeceased by his grandfather, George Frierson and his granny Lois Davis, nephew, Carlito Zamudio.
