Lula Mae Outlaw Wright, 90, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Jerry Wright died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Her funeral service will be held in the Church of God of Prophecy, 956 Orange Grove Road, Charleston, SC, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Lula Mae was born June 25, 1922 in Society Hill, South Carolina. She was a salesperson with Belk Department Store. She was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her son, Perry Blackmon of Charleston, SC, daughter, Senie E. Walton and her husband, Ray of Adams Run, SC, daughter, Pearl E. Allen of Emporia, KS, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy and Nelson Wright and David Blackmon. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Taft Blackmon.
