Lucy " Linda" Baxley, 78, of Awendaw, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 24, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the West Ashley Chapel.
 
Linda was born July 31, 1944 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Joseph Armstrong Lysaght Sr. and Ina Victoria Lysaght. Linda was a proud member of the Johns's Island Presbyterian Church and part of the Hand Bell Choir, AKA "The Ding-A-lings". Linda enjoyed Pepsi, oysters, fishing, watching baseball, penny poker, and Canasta. She had a gift to deliver witty humor when you least expect it, and if you gave it back you would be offered a left hook. For many years their home on John's Island would be the hub for many gatherings of family and friends.
 
She is survived by her brother, Joseph A. Lysaght Jr. (Letha) sons, Scott A. Baxley (Jamie) and Steve L Baxley, Sr. (Angelique); grandchildren, Steve L Baxley, Jr. (Jenni), Brittany N Baxley (fiance, Hunter Lamar), Kyle J Baxley (Hazel), Leah N Narowski, Breanna R. Baxley, and Tiffany J Baxley; and great grandchildren, Stella A Baxley, Steven "Mavrick" Baxley, Maddox L Baxley, and Lexi J Baxley.
 
Memorial donations can be made in Linda's memory to Johns Island Presbyterian Church.
