Lucille Lilly Mae McDonagh

Lucille Lilly Mae Guidry McDonagh, 90, of Hanahan, SC, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Her graveside service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at Beaufort National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
Lilly was born March 29, 1926 in Abbeville, LA, daughter of the late Eudor Guidry and the late Genevieve Broussard Guidry. She was retired from United Piece and Dye Works and was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 147, Post 3142 VFW Auxiliary and La Femmes Voiture 974.
She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Cobb (Larry) of Hanahan, SC, Sheila Dattilo (Tom) of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Lynn Florie (Bryce) of Hanahan, SC and Will Cobb (Christina) of Royal Palm Beach, FL; great-grandchildren, Avery Florie and Emersyn Florie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John Patrick McDonagh; son, Kevin McDonagh; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rena Benton (John) and Ruby Fontenot (Venice); and brother and sister-in-law, Raymond Guidry (Jane).
