Lucille Boyette Hardin, 91, of James Island, South Carolina, wife of the late Homer H. Hardin entered into eternal rest Friday, November 11, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00p.m., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private burial services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Riverside Cemetery, Nichols, SC.
Lucille was born November 23, 1924 in Horry County, South Carolina, daughter of Stephen Boyette and Cora Mincey Boyette. A retired clerical worker, Lucille was a charming lady of many talents and cared greatly for family and friends around her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sylvia Rhymer (James) of Union, SC, Sondra Branch (Lenny) of Sullivans Island, SC; son, Avery Hardin (Betty Keen) of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Michael Hardin (Stephanie) of Summerville, SC, Jessica Rhymer (Jeremy Hill) of Goose Creek, SC, Kristi Rhymer Kicklighter (Brackley) of Hendersonville, NC, Lenny Branch, Jr. of Sullivans Island, SC; five great grandchildren, Joshua C. Hardin, Noah Hardin, Matthew Hardin, Jordyn Hills and Jayson Hills.
