Lucile Pearl Spain, 92, of Johns Island, South Carolina, widow of Roy Spain entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 19, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 22, 2015 in First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Hwy, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Lucile was born September 7, 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late James W. Heron and the late Essie Wood Heron. She was a homemaker who loved her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Roy Spain, Jr (Kathleen E.) of Johns Island, SC and Forrest Spain of Johns Island, SC; two daughters, Ruth Spain Harris of Homer, GA and Martha Spain Postell (James) of Snellville, GA; twelve grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
