Louise Alice Taylor

Louise Alice Taylor, 89, of North Charleston, SC, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:30 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Louise was born October 15, 1925 in Freeland, PA, daughter of the late George Eckert and the late Louise Heckler Eckert. She was a volunteer at Tri County Ministries, a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanahan and former member of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 50.

She is survived by daughter, Alicia Benton and her husband Mark of Round O, SC; stepson, Scott Taylor and his wife Bonnie of Newport News, VA; one grandson; five granddaughters; three great-grandsons; niece, Dorothy Warmkessel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Martin Taylor and her sister, Lillian Lowe.
