Louise Jeneva Yelton

Louise Jeneva Yelton, 102, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of CMSGT Blaine Yelton, USAF, (Ret.) entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Louise was born October 11, 1922, in Elkins, West Virginia, daughter of the late Thadeus Jordan and the late Alice Teeter Jordan. She loved flowers, trees, bird watching and cats.

She is survived by daughter, Nancy Yelton Soles (Chip) of Johns Island, SC; and son-in-law, Tim Hill of Moncks Corner, SC. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Wilkes Wright and daughter, Patricia L Schroder-Hill.

Louise was smart, spunky, courageous, generous, funny, and loving. She truly loved people and never met a stranger. She also loved animals, always taking in strays. Most of all she loved family and friends. She cherished them. She raised her children in faith and love, making them the priority in her life.
