Louise Holladay Garnett, 89, of Hanahan, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in a local nursing home. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Rd., North Charleston SC at 3:00 p.m. with interment following in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Northwoods Chapel one hour prior to her service.
Louise was born August 2, 1926 in Gable, SC, daughter of the late Samuel D. Holladay and Janie Holladay. She retired from Westvaco and was a member of Portside Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Jackie P. Oltmann (George) and one sister, Velma Rae Sult of Hanahan, SC; two grandchildren, Tracy (Mackie) Flood of Cross, SC and Dennis (Koleen) Tanner of Beaufort, SC; two step-grandchildren Angie (Eason) Polk of Summerville, SC and Brad (Mai) Oltmann of Atlanta, GA; four great grandchildren Melanie (Allan) Lanier, Kayla Mixson, Tanner Flood, and Abby Tanner; four step-greatgrandchildren Chandler Polk, Olivia Polk, Hana Oltmann, and Anderson Oltmann; one great-great-granddaughter Ella Way Lanier; and two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by two sisters Dolores Wilson (Bob) and Carolyn Smith (Charles).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Portside Baptist Church, 1179 Remount Rd., North Charleston, SC 29406, or a charity of one's choice.
