Louise Mary Tortora Emery

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 20, 2010, Louise Mary Tortora Emery, of Mt. Pleasant, SC widow of Richard D. Emery.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, November 22, 2010 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at five O'clock.  The family will receive friends after the service until Seven O'Clock. An entombment service will be conducted later in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, Myrtle Beach, SC.

Mrs. Emery was born October 31, 1925 in Alliance, Ohio, daughter of the late Angelo Tortora and Lillian Santucci Tortora . She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by three daughters, Christine A. Sineri and her husband, John of Alliance, OH, Joanne M. Tate and her husband, James of Akron, OH, Karen L. Freshly and her husband, Michael of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother, Angelo Tortora of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Virginia Tortora Smith of Florida; eight grandchildren, Michele, Megan, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Stephanie, Cameron, Stacy, Christopher and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard D. Emery, Jr. and a sister Loretta Polverine.
