Louise Goodwin Clark, 92, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Monday, April 10, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Friday from 1:00 pm until time of the service.

Louise was born April 19, 1924 in Jonesboro, North Carolina, daughter of the late Caleb Goodwin and the late Lula "Maggie" Andrews Goodwin. She worked for National Carbon Company, Inc. during World War II and later was a telephone operator with Roper Hospital. Louise had a huge heart for strays both human and animals. She was however most passionate about being a mother to her four children.

She is survived by her daughter, Deanne Clark of Mount Pleasant, SC; two sons, Chevis Clark, Jr. and David Clark (Cathy), both of Mount Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren, Caitlyn Clark, Cameron, Clark and Sarah Clark and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Bradley of Wadmalaw Island, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Freddie Clark.
