Louis Aaron Wilson Jr., 93, of Charleston SC, a former timber salesman for Koppers, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church, 3225 Ashley River Road on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service that morning. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Louis was born August 12, 1924 in Charleston SC, son of the late Louis Aaron Wilson Sr., and Mamie Shiver Wilson. He served in the U.S. Navy and is a World War II combat Veteran, having served in the Pacific Campaign.He loved the outdoors, spending considerable time hunting and fishing in Honey Hill, SC with friends and family. Louis was a member of St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bessie Wyndham Wilson, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased in death by his son, Louis Aaron Wilson III, and his two brothers, Marion Edward Wilson Sr., and Kenneth M. Wilson.
